Karen Zupanic is a native Clevelander who moved to Dallas, Texas in 1995 and joined the Art Club of McKinney. Her photography has been juried into the gallery at the Dallas Arboretum ("Quiet Stripes" etched in Metal) and her photographs, taken for the Texas Fashion Collection, are in the digital library of the University of North Texas. Her mixed media pieces are in private collections. She is a member of several art organizations and is currently the President of the Dallas Area Fiber Artists organization (www.dallasfiberartists.org). 

Karen earned a Master's degree from Cleveland State University, a Doctorate from the University of Dayton and is currently earning a law degree from Texas A&M University. 

She is the Chief Executive for the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts, a historic museum and art gallery in the cultural district of downtown McKinney, Texas.  She is also the owner of Lenzpark Holdings.
