Artist, Karen Zupanic
Karen Zupanic is a native Clevelander who moved to Dallas, Texas in 1995 and joined the Art Club of McKinney. Her photography has been juried into the gallery at the Dallas Arboretum ("Quiet Stripes" etched in Metal), has won awards in local shows, and her photographs taken for the Texas Fashion Collection are on the digital library of the University of North Texas. Her mixed media pieces are in private collections.. She is a member of several art organizations and is the President of the Dallas Area Fiber Artists organizations.
Karen earned a Doctorate from the University of Dayton and a Master's degree from Cleveland State University. She is currently the Chief Executive for the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts, a museum and gallery in the cultural district of historic downtown McKinney, Texas. She is also the Owner of Lenzpark Holdings.
